Finger spelling alphabet mug

£35.00

Finger spelling alphabet mug based on a C19 nursery ware design, updated here to illustrate modern British Sign Language (BSL).

I love the graphic quality of the antique cups which are now very hard to find.

This mug shows the right-handed version of the BSL alphabet. The BSL alphabet uses two hands while others, including American, use one hand.

No lustre! Hence a special back stamp.

Half pint mug, 8.5cm tall, 8.5cm diameter

Slipcast earthenware glazed ceramic with transfer printed design.

1 in 5 adults in the UK are deaf or have hearing loss. BSL was officially recognised as a language in 2003.
