Inspired by Sunderland lustre ware this design features:
- the motto 'Friendship & Happiness' on one side
- the traditional verse 'Long may you live, and happy may you be, blest with contentment, and from misfortune free' on the other
This jug holds 1 pint and stands 11.5 cm tall with a 9cm diameter at base and neck.
The hand-made nature of our ware means that it is subject to minor imperfections, just like those from the early C19 that are our inspiration. There will be small variation in decoration.
