Decorated with drawings of Jane Austen and her characters Emma and Mr Knightley from 'Emma' by Brita Granström and Mick Manning, this jug celebrates this much-loved novelist and Box Hill, the setting of the picnic scene.
The jug has a capacity of over 4 pints and stands 8" high.
Transfer printed and decorated with pink splash lustre, this jug is a sample, and the only one in existence of this design.
The hand-made nature of our ware means that it is also subject to minor imperfections, just like those from the early C19 that are our inspiration.
