Sussex Pig
£70.00
'Wunt be druv' is Sussex's unofficial motto, asserting the refusal of those from the county to be told what to do. The pig is the animal associated with this spirited independence, and is celebrated in both poetry and pottery.
Our pig is slip-cast in a mould made from a wooden model carved by Peter Chasseaud of the Tom Paine Printing Press in Lewes.
12.5 cm high, 18 cm wide from snout to tail, 4.5 cm deep.
Transfer printed text with sponged pink lustre.
