This egg cup is decorated with six characterful little birds by Clive Hicks-Jenkins. Clive originally produced these illustrations for 'Hansel and Gretel' by Simon Armitage. The book, published by Design for Today, was winner of the 2020 V&A Illustration award.
This egg cup fits a standard sized hen's egg and is 5cm tall, 5cm diameter, slipcast earthenware glazed ceramic with pink lustre banding.
